The TPL001-S gives forklift operators a clear reference for fork tilt before entering a pallet or positioning a load. Mounted directly on the mast, its five-level LED display distinguishes upward tilt, downward tilt and the central level band at a glance. It is the straightforward choice when the operator can see the mast-mounted unit from the driving position.
Three magnets hold the compact indicator to a suitable flat metal surface. The unit wakes when it detects vehicle vibration and turns off after inactivity. No separate in-cab display is needed for this model.
Five-level, color-coded LED display
Single-unit design for direct viewing
Magnetic mounting on either side of the mast
Motion-activated wake-up and automatic sleep
Powered by two D-cell batteries
Before entering a pallet or engaging a load, the operator can check the LED display and adjust the forks toward the green position. The upper and lower lights also show which direction the indicated angle has moved.
TPL001-S is designed for counterbalanced forklifts where the driver has a clear line of sight to the mast. It can be mounted on the left or right side so the display is positioned where that driver can see it best.
The indicator assists the operator; it does not replace training, the forklift manufacturer’s instructions, or checks of the forks, load and working area.

The five display positions distinguish tilt in both directions. The level reference is established during installation, so correct calibration and a secure mounting position are essential.
TPL001-S attaches to a flat metal surface on the mast using its built-in magnets. A single-magnet pull force of at least 17.5 kg.
Its symmetrical design allows placement on either side of the mast. Choose a position that remains visible to the driver, does not interfere with mast movement, and holds the unit securely.
The unit activates automatically when vehicle movement is detected and enters sleep mode after inactivity to conserve battery power. The device will automatically shut down after 2 minutes (when the green indicator light comes on) or after 1 minute (when the red or yellow indicator light comes on).
When the LEDs become dim or unresponsive, replace both D-cell batteries.
The display panel is made of PC, and the housing is made of glass-fiber-reinforced nylon. The operating temperature range is −20°C to +75°C.
Clean the unit with a soft, damp cloth rather than solvents or abrasive cleaners. As part of the daily vehicle check, confirm that it remains secure at its marked position and that the display responds as expected.
Install two new D-cell batteries in the unit.
Park the forklift on a confirmed level surface.
Place the indicator sideways on a single fork near the mast. Slowly adjust fork tilt until the green light remains steady.
Without changing the fork tilt, move the indicator to a suitable flat metal surface on the mast. Mount it vertically and adjust its position until the steady green light appears again.
Mark that mounting position. If the indicator is moved later, return it to the marked position or repeat the setup.
No. TPL001-S consists of one unit mounted on the mast. The driver reads its LEDs directly. If the mast is not clearly visible from the operating position, ask about the alternative model before ordering.
Yes. Select the side that gives the driver the clearest view and provides a suitable, secure metal mounting surface.
Yes. Establish the green level reference with the forklift on a confirmed level surface, then mark the unit’s final position on the mast. Repeat the setup if that position changes.
The unit uses two D-cell batteries. Replace them when the LEDs become dim or unresponsive.
No. It is an additional visual reference for the operator. Continue to follow normal forklift operating and load-handling procedures.
Send us your forklift model and a photo of the mast from the driver’s position. We can help you assess visibility, mounting location and whether the direct-view TPL001-S is the appropriate model.
