The 50B is the 50W option in the short-body range. It shares the 629 mm length of the 30B, giving buyers a choice of power ratings within the same body-length category. It is a useful option where equipment, pipework or structural spacing limits the length of the luminaire.
The fixture combines an aluminum alloy enclosure with a diffusing PC cover. Its linear form distributes light along work areas and access routes, with ceiling, wall and suspended mounting choices for different structures.
A 120° beam provides broad coverage around the mounting position. The PC cover diffuses the light and reduces direct views of individual LEDs, while light transmission above 90% supports efficient delivery through the cover.
Choose a color temperature between 3000K and 6500K. CRI is ≥70 and luminous efficacy is 120–140 lm/W. For extensions to existing lighting, specify the CCT alongside the power rating to keep neighboring fixtures visually consistent.
The AC version uses a high-efficiency LED driver, with power factor above 0.95 and total harmonic distortion below 10%. The electrical specification includes a 4 kV / 6 kV surge-protection design.
A separate DC input configuration is available for low-voltage supplies. Select the input version at ordering; the AC and DC ratings do not describe a single interchangeable driver.
The aluminum alloy housing conducts heat away from the light source and provides a rigid enclosure for industrial service. The construction is shock and vibration resistant, with a corrosion-resistant PC cover and IP66 protection.
Operating ambient temperature is -40°C to +55°C. Rated life is 50,000 hours at L70, and the standard warranty is five years. Keep the housing and cover accessible for inspection and cleaning when planning the installation.
Both ends of the fixture have 3/4 NPT entry openings. The base configuration excludes cable glands, so the connection components can be specified for the actual cable or conduit arrangement.
Include the cable type, diameter and entry usage in the order. Two-end access does not establish a through-wiring rating; confirm the terminal and circuit arrangement if the project calls for interconnected fixtures.
Choose ceiling, wall, pole, pendant or pendant-chain mounting to suit the support structure. Wall mounting provides adjustment from 0° to ±60°, allowing the fixture to be aimed toward the work area. Specify the mounting kit separately from the electrical connection components.
This version has 3/4 NPT cable entry openings at both ends. Cable glands are not included. Select the connection components for the cable or conduit arrangement and provide a suitable closure for any unused entry.
Mount the fixture directly to the ceiling or an overhead support for a clean, low-profile installation.
The wall-mounting bracket offers an adjustable angle from 0° to ±60°, allowing the light direction to be set for the target area.
A pole-mounting arrangement is available when the luminaire needs to be positioned away from a wall or ceiling surface.
Use pendant mounting when the fixture needs to be suspended from a fixed overhead structure.
Two suspension points support chain mounting for installations that require additional hanging flexibility.
Specify an emergency package when the installation requires light after loss of the normal supply. Quoted choices include 8W for 1.5 hours or 12W for 3 hours. These are emergency-mode ratings, separate from the 50W normal-operation rating.
Select the required output and runtime when requesting a quotation. Final battery configuration and operating conditions need confirmation for the chosen package.
The linear format can be specified for service routes and work areas in oil and gas facilities, petrochemical plants, wastewater-treatment facilities, food and beverage facilities, tunnels and marine environments. Match the ordered configuration to the location’s electrical and environmental requirements.
The short body fits into layouts with limited space between structural members or equipment. Ceiling and suspended arrangements keep the light above the route; check spacing and shadows against the required light level.
Wall and pole arrangements provide alternatives where there is no suitable overhead fixing point. Position the light so equipment does not block the beam and the cable entries remain accessible for maintenance.

30W | MAG-EX-LN-02P-30B | 629 mm | |
50W | MAG-EX-LN-02P-50B | 629 mm | Current Model |

75W | MAG-EX-LN-02P-75D | 1229 mm |
The MAG-EX-LN-02P-50B is rated at 50W, while the 30B is rated at 30W. Both use a 629 mm body. Consider the 50B when the lighting schedule calls for the higher power option but space still favors the short enclosure. The shared body length does not establish identical mounting kits or a specific increase in illuminance; check the selected configuration and lighting calculation.
A 120° beam is a wide distribution rather than a narrow spotlight. It can illuminate the walkway and nearby equipment, but walls, pipework and mounting position can affect how much light reaches the route. Review the layout for shadows and spill light. Beam angle alone is not enough to select a mounting height or guarantee an even light level.
No automatic AC/DC compatibility is specified. Order either the AC100–277V, 50–60Hz configuration or the DC12–24V configuration to match the circuit. State the actual voltage in the purchase order. For a DC installation, cable sizing and voltage drop should be assessed for the selected load and cable run rather than copied from an AC installation.
Identify the support surface, preferred mounting method and required light direction. Ceiling, wall, pole, pendant and pendant-chain options are available, with 0° to ±60° adjustment in the wall arrangement. Include photographs or a drawing if space is restricted. The chosen hardware must support the 4.6 kg fixture and allow access to its entry points.
The American-standard configuration has 3/4 NPT openings at both ends, but cable glands are separate items. Supply the cable type and outside diameter when requesting the connection package. Specify how each end will be used and include suitable closure components for unused openings. Do not assume the European version’s gland or cable package is included.
Two-end access provides connection positions; it does not by itself confirm that the fixture is rated for through-wiring. Before linking fixtures, establish the terminal arrangement, conductor capacity and permitted circuit load for the ordered configuration. The total load and connection components must be considered together, rather than deriving a linking limit from the 50W rating alone.
Choose the required emergency output and duration separately from the normal 50W rating. Quoted options include 8W for 1.5 hours and 12W for 3 hours, subject to final battery-package confirmation. Use the selected emergency output when checking the emergency layout; normal-operation performance should not be substituted for battery-mode performance.
The fixture has an IP66 enclosure and a specified ambient range of -40°C to +55°C. Outdoor selection should also consider the cable entry components, exposure conditions and the site’s requirements. IP66 should not be used as a substitute for a chemical-compatibility, immersion or salt-spray test rating. Include unusual exposure conditions with the inquiry.
Specify MAG-EX-LN-02P-50B, American standard UL844, and send the quantity, supply voltage, color temperature and mounting method through the product inquiry form. Add cable details and any emergency-output requirement so the accessories and battery option can be quoted with the fixture.
