MAG-J-100 supplies 12,000 lm for fixed lighting around industrial equipment, process routes and open work areas. It sits between the compact 40W model and the 200W high-output model, giving projects a practical middle power level without moving to the largest housing in the series.
The 300 × 300 mm body accepts five optical distributions. Engineers can use one fixture platform for narrow aiming, medium-area coverage or wide floodlighting, then specify the certification and connection details required by the site.

300 mm housing with a 7 kg net weight.
Five beam packages from a focused 15° beam to a wide 120° beam.
AC100-277V input for common industrial power systems.
IP66 enclosure for dust and water-jet protection.
-40°C to +65°C range for cold and hot operating environments within the stated limits.
Multiple mounting arrangements for overhead, wall, bracket and pole positions.
The optical package is chosen according to throw distance, target width and fixture position. A 15° beam concentrates the output on a smaller target. The 60° and 90° options suit many equipment and work-area layouts. The 108° and 120° options distribute light across wider zones.
5000K is the standard color temperature. Options from 2700K to 6500K are listed, with CRI ≥70. A project lighting calculation should use the photometric file for the exact ordered lens rather than a generic series curve.
The enclosure uses an ADC12 die-cast aluminum body and tempered glass with stated light transmission above 90%. Heat-sink fins are formed into the rear housing, while the U-bracket supports aiming and fixed installation.
IP66, shock and vibration resistance, and the -40°C to +65°C operating range are the stable published characteristics used for selection.
The 100W configuration operates on AC100-277V at 50-60Hz and uses a Mean Well HLG series driver. Its listed electrical limits are PF >0.95 and THD <10%. The surge design is identified as 4 kV / 6 kV.
The factory entry is M25 × 1.5. Projects can instead specify M26 × 1.5 or 3/4"-14 NPT. Standard supply includes a 0.5 m, three-core rubber lead carrying IEC (CE) certification. Confirm the thread and gland arrangement before production.

Five installation drawings are available: ceiling fixing, suspended drop, wall fixing, adjustable U-bracket and pole support. The U-bracket suits positions where the beam must be aimed at a defined work zone. Ceiling and drop arrangements place the light overhead, while wall and pole supports can move it clear of nearby equipment.
Mounting hardware, support strength, corrosion protection and final aiming are project responsibilities. Include the preferred arrangement in the enquiry so the required accessory set can be confirmed.
The 100W output level is suitable for evaluation in refinery process units, petrochemical pipe racks, offshore service areas, wastewater facilities, chemical plants and other classified industrial locations. It can also serve equipment skids, loading areas and access platforms where a flood pattern is more appropriate than a linear fixture.
Final suitability depends on the hazardous-area classification, complete marking, ambient temperature, chemical exposure, voltage, cable system and mounting design.

Power alone does not set fixture quantity. Use the target illuminance, mounting position, beam choice and approved photometric data to compare layouts.
Include the following items with the enquiry so the configuration can be checked before quotation:
Required quantity and delivery destination
Site classification and complete required Ex marking
ATEX, IECEx or market-specific certification route
Beam angle: 15°, 60°, 90°, 108° or 120°
Color temperature from 2700K to 6500K
Cable-entry thread: M25 × 1.5, M26 × 1.5 or 3/4"-14 NPT
Ceiling, drop, wall, U-bracket or pole mounting
Lighting layout or target illuminance, when available
Required certificate copies and nameplate information
MAG-J-100 is the middle option in the planned range: 12,000 lm from a 300 × 300 × 165 mm housing. MAG-J-40s provides 4,800 lm in a smaller body, while MAG-J-200 provides 24,000 lm in a larger body. Select between them using target illuminance, mounting distance, beam angle, obstruction risk and the approved photometric layout rather than wattage alone.
The 15° optic concentrates light on a smaller, more distant target. A 60° or 90° distribution suits many equipment, platform and process-area layouts. The 108° and 120° options spread light across wider zones at shorter mounting distances. Compare at least two candidate optics in the lighting calculation when uniformity and spill light matter.
5000K is the standard color temperature. The listed order range is 2700K to 6500K, with CRI ≥70. State the required CCT in the purchase description because color temperature affects visual appearance and may need to match adjacent luminaires, cameras or site standards.
M25 × 1.5 is the standard entry. M26 × 1.5 and 3/4"-14 NPT are optional. Match the thread to the project gland or conduit standard and confirm the sealing method, cable outside diameter and certification of the complete entry system. The standard lead is a 0.5 m three-core rubber cable with IEC (CE) certification.
No. IP66 addresses ingress protection, not the full corrosion performance of the coating, fasteners, bracket and cable system. For offshore, marine or chemical exposure, define the environmental requirement separately and confirm the supplied materials and finish before approval.
Treat -40°C to +65°C as the published operating range, then verify that the certificate and nameplate allow the site ambient for the ordered version. The ATEX gas code includes T4, while the dust code states T95°C. Ambient limits and surface-temperature markings must be reviewed together, not as separate approvals.
The U-bracket arrangement is the clearest choice when the fixture needs field aiming. Ceiling, drop, wall and pole installations are also illustrated. The support must account for the 7 kg fixture weight, wind or vibration loads where relevant, cable routing and access for adjustment. Confirm the supplied accessory set rather than assuming all mounting parts are included.
Send the site classification, quantity, beam angle, color temperature, entry thread and mounting arrangement. Add the required certificate list and lighting layout so the proposed 100W configuration can be checked before quotation.
